ALFISO ISOTEK BLANKET
GENERAL INFORMATION
ISOTEK blankets are strong, lightweight, flexible insulating products made from long ISOTEK ceramic spun fiber, mechanically needled for added strength and surface integrity. The blankets display very low thermal conductivity, super thermal shock resistance, low heat storage and the excellent sound absorption.
ISOTEK blankets do not contain neither inorganic nor organic binders, never contaminate furnace atmosphere and emit offensive odors during furnace operation.
ISOTEK blankets are non-combustible and are approved for use against cellulosic and hydrocarbon fires, suitable for dry wrapping of structural steel and combined constructions for fire protection..
Available in a variety of chemical compositions, density and size combinations, ISOTEK blanket is one of the most versatile products available to the industry today.
RT-1260 Blanket is strong flexible insulating material made from high purity natural alumina-silica fire clay, purified further by adding alumina-silica powder, provides cost-effective backup and hot face insulation in furnaces, kilns and various high temperature applications up to 1260°C.
HT-1260 Blanket is specialized material produced from high purity oxides of alumina and silica using spinning process, offers excellent high temperature resistance and chemical stability which allows it to meet a wide range of hot face and back up insulation in furnaces, kilns and other high temperature equipment.
MZ-1400 Blanket is 1400°C grade blanket formed from spun alumina-silica-zirconia fiber, designed for applications where high tensile strength, low thermal conductivity and low shrinkage are required. It is used in a wide range of hot face lining and backup insulation applications.
CZ-1430 Blanket is a strong high temperature blanket made from spun alumina-silica-zirconia fiber with enhanced zirconia content, exhibits extreme low shrinkage, low thermal conductivity, low heat storage at elevated temperatures and high performance of thermal shock resistance. It is used extensively as hot face lining and backup insulation in furnaces, kilns and high temperature equipment in the ceramic, chemical processing, and ferrous metal industries.
