ALFISO ISOTEK SQUARE BRAID GENERAL INFORMATION ISOTEK Square braid is dense, resilient, high performance ceramic fiber material plaited from E-glass, stainless steel wire or high temperature alloy wire inserted ceramic fiber yarn to form a packing in square section. It is widely used for a broad variety of high temperature gasketing, packing and sealing application, especially when a material of even higher density and greater resilience than rope is required.   ISOTEK Square braid contains approximately 18% organic fiber which burns out at high temperatures, causing some smoking and outgassing, but has no effect on the properties of the products.   PROPERTIES Products ISOTEK 1260 ISOTEK 1430 Max.
