ALFISO™
Pouring Cups
ALFISO produce ceramic fiber pouring cups for foundry robots, to replace
the heavy cast-iron cups. The pouring cups are of light weight, provide
excellent thermal insulation and low thermal mass properties, can be used
without preheating. It's non-wetting preventing sticking of a casting
skin. The corrosion, which can be mainly observed with metal cups, does
not occur with ceramic fiber cups. The loss of temperature is only approx.
5℃. As standard, before delivery a coating is applied to all casting cups,
which is also suitable for very saline alloys.
Ceramic fiber pouring cups are available to be repaired with our mastic
APO50/100, the
better you take care of them, the longer they last.
